Keeping it legit...if you have to ask if it's legal, it probably isn't

Can anyone shed some light on why Rex Nelson wrote the highlighted text?

Why would they need to try to keep this legit? Here are the records, what is going on here?

    Your City Council presentation work represented many hours, I know, but few do,  and you are unsung at this point except for those of us who know you. My wife, Nancy, mentioned those visuals the minute I walked in the door. That says a lot I think. Also people that approached me as we left said the same.


   Now if you haven't done so in the course of getting the approvals to show them, I suggest you contact Sally Maio to arrange for and to ensure they get into the public records.
